ForenSight
Even the most complex computational genetics operations can now be executed locally on your device, just within seconds.
ForenSight is a set of open-source tools developed to assist forensic and genetic experts in performing DNA comparisons, paternity and maternity tests, and multi-sample comparisons. It operates on single chromosomes, mitochondrial DNA, or the entire genome, providing comprehensive capabilities for advanced genetic analysis. This innovative solution streamlines complex forensic and genetic procedures, enhancing accuracy and efficiency in critical areas of investigation.
Beyond its ability to accelerate forensic genetic analyses, ForenSight also addresses one of the major global challenges faced by forensic institutions — the secure storage of genetic data — through its encrypted vector database technology. With this proprietary methodology developed by our team, genetic information is encrypted to prevent potential biosecurity risks while preserving the unique value of DNA sequences. This allows forensic genetic comparisons to continue functioning seamlessly based on these encrypted representations.
By developing ForenSight as a free and open-source technology for forensic genetics professionals, we contributed not only to forensic science but also to the open-source community. Throughout the process, we documented the methods, test results, and research findings we discovered, making significant contributions to bioinformatics, computational mathematics, and data science.
